As the year draws to a close, it’s time to look ahead to new anime in 2019. While not everything has been announced yet, there are a ton of great titles coming up in the Winter and Spring seasons, as well as plenty of shows that don’t have firm dates as of yet. We covered the best anime to watch 2019, vote your favorite.

This list will exclude second course – as much as everyone is looking forward to the next installment of Attack on Titan, it isn’t a new season. It will also exclude shows that have been announced but which are not yet confirmed to be airing in 2019 – so Made In Abyss 2 and My Hero Academia Season 4though hotly anticipated, won’t be included here.

    One Punch Man, which follows the adventures of Saitama, a superhero who can defeat anyone with a single punch, is one of the most popular anime of the past decade, and it's second season will be coming out in April. Exactly what it will cover is unclear, but one thing that is known: a new villain will appear, and the show will be animated by J.C. Staff, instead of Madhouse, who previously handled the title.

    A seemingly idyllic orphanage turns out to be something far more sinister. When two of the children venture away from the orphanage, they discover that they're being raised as livestock in service of hungry demons. Will they be able to escape in time?

    Mob Psycho 100 tells the story of Mob Kageyama, a 12-year-old boy with incredible psychic abilities who just wants to lead a normal life. The first season saw him defeating a cult, taking down an organization of powerful psychics, and learning life lessons from his mentor Reigen. The story of Season 2 is still unknown, but maybe it will introduce some new characters from the web manga, like former Claw member turned good guy Serizawa.

    If you're a Code Geass fan who is dying to know more about what happens after the end of the series, you need to watch Code Geass: Lelouch Of The Resurrection. Little is known about this upcoming movie, other than that it will take place several years after Zero Requiem, and that it will focus heavily on C.C. and Suzaku.

    The anime studio best known for its incredible CGI and its work on the Fate franchise, ufotable, is finally coming out with something that has nothing to do with the Holy Grail War. In Blade Of Demon Destruction, Tanjirou's entire family is attacked, and the sole survivor besides himself is his sister Nezuko - who has been transformed into a demon. Despite the change, there still appears to be some humanity left inside of her, prompting Tanjirou to embark on a journey to change her back.

    If you're a fan of the isekai genre, you have to watch Isekai Quartet. This hotly anticipated series has characters from popular isekai anime leaving their own worlds to visit other series. Characters from Re:Zero, Saga of Tanya the Evil, Konosuba, and Overlord will be traveling to each others' worlds and interacting with one another. Is that awesome or is that awesome?

    Natsuo Fujii is in love with Hina - the problem is that she's his teacher. To try and get his mind off of her, he hooks up with a classmate named Rui. Through a series of complicated events, he winds up living with both of them. With beautiful art and a thoughtful manga behind it, it's possible that Domestic Girlfriend will be a nuanced portrait of the human heart...or it could be a Jerry Springer level disaster of a story that will be entertaining for completely different reasons. Either way, it should be a good time.

    Quickly confirmed after the first season ended its run in Japan, Kakegurui - Compulsive Gambleris coming back for a second season. But when can fans expect to see it for themselves? Not too far from now.

    In the latest chapter of the manga series, Kakegurui confirmed that Season 2 of the anime adaptation will release in January 2019.

    The third season of Date A Live. Episode 1 pre-aired on January 7, 2018. Regular broadcast will start on January 11, 2019.

    The 3D Kanojo: Real Girl Season 2 release date has already been confirmed by the producers! The anime will continue where 3D Kanojo: Real Girl Episode 12 left off, finishing the entire story.
