Is there a Grim reeper ?
Beetlebomb
Mar 14 2009, 11:46 PM
Well there are stories about the Grim Reaper but never has been documented as being true. But death is what people call the Reaper. Death can be determined many ways as being an apparition or folktale. Anyway you look at it, death is the ultimate reaper.

What hauntings have you been to lately and did you see any thing?
Beetlebomb
Mar 15 2009, 08:56 PM
Well we haven't been on any investigations yet, the weather hasn't been cooperating like it should be. Rain and a bit cold here, we had a cold front move in. We may have some good ones coming up though soon.
bunnykins
Mar 16 2009, 01:10 PM
Ah ok. I can nnot wait to hear about the ones you will be doing.
Did you get any more tools for your investigations ?
Beetlebomb
Mar 16 2009, 10:08 PM
We will be buying 3 new voice recorders here soon and maybe another video recorder. I am hoping to buy some IR Cameras too. Infrared cameras are very useful when investigating in total darkness. I did have some up in Indianapolis but had to sell them. I do know a friend of mine is going to send Carly's camera through the mail. I hope it gets here soon, this is a surprise for her.
bunnykins
Mar 16 2009, 10:21 PM
Oh would love to see her face when it gets there. I would think she would be very happy for a surprise like that.
So what kind of voice recorders do you have, I mean will you be getting?
Beetlebomb
Mar 17 2009, 05:35 PM
We are getting 3 Panasonic 5100 voice recorders, the top of the line voice recorders.
bunnykins
Mar 17 2009, 05:43 PM
Cool those sound good.
Is it better to use digital voice recorders or analog voice recorders?
Beetlebomb
Mar 18 2009, 04:59 AM
Both get good results but with the analog recorder, you get that hissing noise and sometimes you can hear the gears inside. With a digital, you get a clean recording, no noise. So the best recorder to use is the digital recorder.

Mar 18 2009, 05:11 AM
ah ok thanks.
Do you have any computer software that you use for your Paranormal stuff?
Beetlebomb
Mar 18 2009, 03:33 PM
Yes, we either use Cool Edit Pro or Audacity. Either one does great. These are used when analyzing EVP's
bunnykins
Mar 18 2009, 03:56 PM
Do you get scared when doing an investigation?
Beetlebomb
Mar 19 2009, 05:32 AM
No not really, sometimes I get a little startled but never scared. I am so used to doing this after 35+ years nothing ever scares me. I've gone into investigations not knowing what will happen, It's like someone who is a daredevil, you just keep on going til something happens.
bunnykins
Mar 20 2009, 01:57 PM
Thats a very good attitude too
Do you have ghosts at your new place like you did at your old one?
Beetlebomb
Mar 20 2009, 07:15 PM
My friend told me one day he was walking by the front room and noticed a shadow going across the far wall, he said he it floated along the wall and entered the room we were sleeping. It vanished after that and never saw it again. There aren't any spirits per say here but you never know what transient spirit will come through. If they do, it's only for a brief moment. Yes there are such things as transient spirits, they move from place to place trying to find their way. Some never find what they are looking for and some do. Some make a place with the living. Some are afraid of the living for some unknown reason.
bunnykins
Mar 21 2009, 02:38 PM
Its possible that those that are afraid of the living were afraid of other people while alive or had a terible life were they were torchered and what not.
Beetlebomb
Mar 21 2009, 07:04 PM
Yes it is possible this would happen. Many times when a spirit is afraid of the living, many factors come in to play. What was that person like when they were alive? Did this person have any phobias? Did this person give up on life? These and many other questions that sometimes can't be answered are always asked. That was a good question Amiee.

Mar 21 2009, 07:27 PM
Glad you liked my question.
I have an interesting question for you.
Do you know what a hyper cube is?
Beetlebomb
Mar 22 2009, 06:16 PM
A point is a hypercube of dimension zero. If one moves this point one unit length, it will sweep out a line segment, which is a unit hypercube of dimension one. If one moves this line segment its length in a perpendicular direction from itself; it sweeps out a two-dimensional square. If one moves the square one unit length in the direction perpendicular to the plane it lies on, it will generate a three-dimensional cube. This can be generalized to any number of dimensions. For example, if one moves the cube one unit length into the fourth dimension, it generates a 4-dimensional unit hypercube (a unit tesseract). This process of sweeping out volumes can be formalized mathematically as a Minkowski sum: the d-dimensional hypercube is the Minkowski sum of d mutually perpendicular unit-length line segments, and is therefore an example of a zonotope.

Nice post.
I have read a lot about tesseracts. One theory is that the spirit world is a 4th dimension of space. Although there are those who think some UFO's are from the 4th dimension of space and they just slip in and out of our 3d space.
Beetlebomb
Mar 22 2009, 08:53 PM
Well a spirit lives on a perpendicular plane equal to our own. The 4th dimension doesn't come on to play using this theory. The only way a 4th dimensional intersect could occur is when our plane collides with the spirit world, which that can never happen. As stated, their plane is parallel with ours. UFO's can use what is called a worm hole to move through space. These are everywhere in the outer reaches of space.
bunnykins
Mar 22 2009, 08:58 PM
With a warm hole at least from what I have read you could travel through time in one. Although I am wondering how possible it is that a warm hole exists. I do not think some thing like that could be natural but then again it could be.
Beetlebomb
Mar 23 2009, 04:24 AM
Amiee, do you know what a worm hole is??
A worm hole is part of a Black Hole. It is said that once you cross the Event Horizon, there is no turning back. Actually, the gravitational forces alone would rip you apart once you go inside a Black Hole. Farther inside you would be reduced to the size of a pencil, stretched far apart. Then you would disappear and not even know what happened to you. In the movie "The Black Hole", the space craft traveled into the black hole and went to the other side of the universe. Which is totally impossible to do, being the gravitational forces are so strong.
bunnykins
Mar 23 2009, 02:15 PM
I am very much aware of what a worm hole is.
A black hole and a worm hole are 2 separate things. Although I have heard of the theory that on the other side of a black hole is a white hole. Which would essentially be a worm hole. That theory is not held by most of the science community.
Every Galaxy in the known universe has a super massive black hole holding the galaxy together like the sun holds the solar system together. All the current black hole science shows I have seen recently state a black hole is sphere like the earth or sun. It just does not allow light to bounce off of it as the gravity pulls the light in as well. At the outer polls of a black hole it does emit x-rays.
Beetlebomb
Mar 23 2009, 10:11 PM
Yes you are correct about the other side of a black hole. It can be a doorway to the other side of a Galaxy but no one knows for sure. Stephen Hawking theorized this many times to the Astronomical community but they dismissed his theory until one day a few scientists deciphered his finding threw Einsteins law of relativity. Once they found this, they made an apology to Stephen Hawking and made his theory public.
With every Galaxy you do have a black hole holding the galaxy together. Some larger than others. Like our Sun which is a Main Sequence Star, it holds the Solar System together. Plus the outer planets like Jupiter and Saturn hold the farther planets in their orbits.
bunnykins
Mar 23 2009, 10:21 PM
There is an interesting theory I heard, not sure where or who said it but I will post it here.
The theory goes like this.
With all the Black holes in the universe maybe there is a white hole in the very center of the universe sending out matter that black holes are sucking in.
So in other words constantly making the universe bigger.

Does salt effect ghosts?
Not sure if I asked that but remember it being mentioned on a show I watch.
A few things mentioned on that show were:
1. you can make a ghost that is materializing vanish by throwing salt on it.
2. If you ping a circle of salt around you, a ghost can not get to you as they would not be able to get past the salt ring.
3. Kind of like the last one but the opposite, basically trapping a ghost by putting a ring of salt around it.
Beetlebomb
Mar 29 2009, 11:57 PM
You are on the right track Amiee, you can make a ghost not come near you if you pour a ring of salt around you. You can also make spirits not come on your property by sprinkling salt on all 4 corners of your property. The spirit can not cross it. If you really want to keep spirits away, you can dig a 1 foot trench around your house and put water in it. The spirit can not cross water. The reason this is, water represents life and with a spirit, it isn't alive. Most people don't know that. No you can not throw salt on a spirit to make it go away, the only way is to pour the salt either around your property or around you.

I did not know the water thing. I just had seen the salt thing on a tv show.
It was on a fictional show about ghost hunters and they had guns filled with salt bullets to demoralize a ghost.

Well they were wasting their time shooting salt at the spirit....lol

Made for an interesting show though.
The one that was on this past Thursday had a spirit that drove people to kill them selves.

Do you believe in profits?
Beetlebomb
Apr 3 2009, 11:11 PM
Not really, they are not proven to be right and I don't believe in them anyways.
bunnykins
Apr 3 2009, 11:18 PM
Oh I will agree most are fake but some could be real. People like me that just get random visions of the future. Not sure if there is a reason for it but it is interesting to get them.
So do you watch the Supernatural tv show?
Beetlebomb
Apr 4 2009, 06:27 PM
I used to watch it but after a while they went through the same things. I got tired of seeing those guys work so hard for nothing sometimes.
If the producers really knew what goes on in the supernatural world, they would see it isn't as glamorous as they see it. I've seen some amazing shit and went through some of the weirdest and strangest things imaginable.
bunnykins
Apr 4 2009, 06:38 PM
Ah lately they have had Angels and the Apocalypse and so now they are Fighting to keep the seals from being opened.
I started watching it not that long ago.
The last one they had one was about a profit writing the whole story of dean and sams life. There were things in his book that dean and sam had not done yet so thats how the story went was they were trying to prevent them from happening.

Apr 5 2009, 07:13 PM
Amiee, I have a question for you.
Have you ever walked in a room and felt like you were being watched and then turn around and there stood an image of someone you knew?
I have had this happen to me many times and still intrigues me everytime it happens.
bunnykins
Apr 5 2009, 07:27 PM
I do not think or recall that happening to me.
I have flet some one in the room when I know no one else is around but do not actually recall seeing any one.
Beetlebomb
Apr 5 2009, 09:56 PM
It's an obvious feeling when you walk into a room and you know no one else is in the house. I felt this alot at the apartment, knowing no one was home at the time but still had that feeling I was being watched. I know of one time just after Pam passed away, I had this feeling she was still upstairs, working on her computer. I would walk upstairs and thought I had seen her sitting there, knowing very well she wasn't. Once when Carly was upstairs on the computer, I didn't know she was at the time, I walked upstairs and heard the keys being used on the keyboard. I started walking a little fast and saw who I thought was Pam. Carly used to have the same length hair as Pam, the same color and had it in a pony tail. I looked and said...PAM!!!!!
Carly turned around and I said I thought you were mom. She said no, it's me and I went back down stairs.

Ah have you ever been thinking about some one and they either call or come on line.
This has happened to me and a lot of my family as well. Like the other day I was thinking about my Boyfriend and he called me and wow before that it has been a long time since we talked. I mean weeks so was a good surprise.
